Who I am

This website is operated by Brendan Pochynok, a freelance web developer based in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. For any privacy question or request, email [email protected].

What information is collected

Contact form: when you request a quote, I collect your name, email address, and the details of your quote selections. This is used solely to respond to your request and is sent to my inbox via Resend, an email delivery service.

Chat widget: messages you type into the site chat are processed by Anthropic (the company behind Claude) to generate responses. Conversations are not stored on my servers and are not linked to your identity. Do not share sensitive personal information in the chat.

Analytics: this site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use it (pages visited, approximate location, device type). GA4 uses cookies and collects data in aggregate. No analytics data is used to personally identify you.

How your information is used

To respond to quote requests and project inquiries. To improve the website based on aggregate usage patterns. That is the full list — your information is never sold, rented, or shared with third parties for marketing.

Third-party services

This site relies on a small number of processors: Vercel (hosting), Resend (transactional email), Google Analytics (usage analytics), and Anthropic (chat responses). Each processes only the data required to perform its function, under its own privacy policy.

Data retention

Quote request emails are retained as ordinary business correspondence. If you would like your information deleted, email [email protected] and it will be removed within 30 days unless retention is required by law.

Your rights

I handle personal information in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act (Alberta) and PIPEDA (Canada). You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by emailing [email protected].

Client engagements

Web development projects are governed by a written services agreement provided before work begins, which covers payment terms, intellectual property, confidentiality, and privacy obligations in detail. This page covers only the use of this website.
